Cheese factory

Besides the regular cuisine offer, Baške Oštarije Recreation Center has widen its offer for visitors and passers-by. As a part of the center, a cheese factory has started with production of cheese and other dairy products from own-produced cow milk. The factory is located in the region with eco-clean environment, in the heart of Velebit mountain, where there is no industrial pollution of any sort. Our products are of high quality and they bring you all the splendour of Velebit and its herbs.

Our products are: own-produced milk, Lika basa (fresh cheese from Lika region), cream, yoghurt, fruit yoghurt, fresh cheese, ricotta, škripavac (soft cheese), medium-hard and hard cheese.

Milk and dairy products are also included in the menu offer of the restaurant at Baške Oštarije Hostel. Milk and dairy products can be purchased at the cheese factory.

Our products have quality mark „Lika Quality“.
